April Yard of the Month Winner!
Community Association Board Meeting
April is the time to start updating and cleaning your yard.
Do you have a bush or tree that didn’t come back after the freeze?
Now is the time to pull or cut it down.
Did you lose a fence or limbs in the tornado last week?
Although fences are not required, they must be in good condition and standing.
Please bundle limbs and fence boards so they can be placed out for trash.
Now is the time to replace and plant new trees, bushes and flowers.
Don’t forget lawn care.
Weeding, feeding, and increased watering schedule is a must for a beautiful yard.
Your Memorial Parkway Community needs YOU! We need volunteers to offer their talents in a variety of roles to help support our HOA functions and activities. If you value the events and services that our HOA offers, please consider volunteering so that we may continue to serve our great community! We are looking for volunteers for the Grounds, Recreation, Facilities, Architectural Control and Security committees. If you would like to volunteer, please come to our meeting on the 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7pm in the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse to learn more about the needs of these committees.
For all the homeowners that get their water bill electronically.
We are thrilled to announce that Yard of the month is back! Starting in April and will go through October. The HOA will be taking nominations and selecting yards monthly. There are so many outstanding homeowners who are dedicated to maintaining a beautiful and well kept yard, that we want to recognize those for their hard work. We will take nominations from other homeowners each month. Please submit nominations by the 20th of each month. The HOA will post the nominees and the community will be able to vote. Each month a first place $25 and second place $10 winner will be announced. The winners will also receive a “Yard on the Month” sign for their green thumbs that have truly made our community shine!!

The Memorial Parkway Board of Directors have officially approved the construction of a vibrant new splash playground, set to transform leisure experiences for residents of all ages at the Cimarron Parkway Park. Following months of anticipation and community engagement, the project’s approval marks a significant milestone in enhancing recreational facilities within our subdivision. Designed to provide relief from the summer heat while fostering social interaction and activity. The 800 square foot splash playground promises to be a focal point for families and individuals seeking outdoor enjoyment. The splash playground embodies our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents and creating inclusive spaces for recreation and relaxation. Scheduled to feature an array of interactive water features, including two single hoops, four dumping buckets, umbrella spray, fountains and jets, the playground will cater to diverse preferences and abilities. We’re thrilled to bring this long-awaited project to fruition. From toddlers delighting in the gentle spray of water to seniors enjoying leisurely strolls amidst the vibrant atmosphere, this space is poised to become a beloved destination for generations to come. There will be two separate shade covered areas next two the splash pad. The project was awarded to Oasis Waterplaygrounds with a projected cost of $151,030 and will be ratified at the March 5th Board Meeting. Construction will begin in the next couple of days and should take 6 to 8 weeks to complete.
