Several people suggested that they would like to have a time for seniors to get together in the clubhouse. We are open to the idea and have tried this in the past... there was not much interest. If there is interest, we are more than happy to support the idea. We will open up the clubhouse and have coffee and bagels for seniors to meet and get to know your neighbors. We have some cards and other games that we will set out if anyone is interested in getting a game going. If the group stays consistent, we have lots of ideas such as pot luck luncheons.
Please join us for our first Seniors Coffee & Cards.
The Mobile Vet Clinic will be at the Cimarron Clubhouse, Thursday, October 22nd from 4pm to 6:30pm. They will be providing low cost vet care and vaccines.

Memorial Parkway moms have recently started a playgroup! Our goal is for our children to build friendships, for each other to build friendships, and build our sense of community in Memorial Parkway. We will have play dates in homes, meet ups at our playground and local parks, outings around Katy, and Girl's Night Out events. Search 'Memorial Parkway Playgroup' on Facebook. Memorial Parkway is participating in Texas National Neighborhood Night Out again and would like you to be a part of our National Night Out team. We would like to have representatives from each street to help in organizing a small event for your block for the evening of Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Gatherings are usually held between the hours of 5 and 8pm. It is very easy. Just distribute a flyer on your street to let everyone know the day, date, and time, add in a few simple refreshments like cookies and lemonade, bring out the lawn chairs and enjoy and evening out with your neighbors. We can assist with providing flyer templates and will also publicize the event on your website, Next Door, and Facebook page to let everyone know which streets are hosting events. If you are able to join the Night-out Team, please contact the office so that we can add you to the list of volunteers and help with any questions you may have.
