Harris County Constables Security Report for December, 2017 for Memorial Parkway Community

The Memorial Parkway HOA Office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Holiday; Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 1st. The office staff will be checking emails regularly. We saw a lot of great lights through out the neighborhood last night. It was really difficult to narrow down the winners. If a house was a winner last year, then we did not pick them to win again this year. That way we could spread around the fun and prizes!! Check out our Facebook Page for the pictures of the winners. The picture files were too big and would not upload to our website. :(

The next monthly HOA Board meeting will be Tuesday, January 5, 2018 at 7pm in the Memorial Parkway clubhouse located at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450. All homeowners are welcome to attend. You can find the agend here. 

Join your neighbors for a night out at the clubhouse! Friday, February 9, 2018 The HOA would like you to join us for dinner and bingo! We will serve food at 6:30pm and begin BINGO at 7pm. We will play 20 games, which usually takes about 2 hours. Bingo is for residents over the age of 18 years old. This is an adult only event and space is limited to 60 people. Santa's Elves will be driving through Memorial Parkway looking for the best Christmas Light Display. The winners of the 6 prize categories will receive a prize. To participate, please be sure your lights are turned on from 7pm to 10pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. We need more Elves to help judge the Christmas Lights. If you would like to volunteer please comment here or call the office at 281-492-2949.

    A statement along with the annual letter was mailed out to all homeowners in October. If you did not receive a letter in the mail, please contact the office immediately. We are happy to announce that the 2018 HOA Dues will remain the same as last year. The 2018 Maintenance Fee of $375, is due by January 1, 2018. Any account not paid before January 31, 2018 will incur a late fee of $35 on February 1^st and a finance charge of 10% per month.

    Payment plans are available in the office. Plans will consist of 3 monthly payments (December-$125 down payment, January-$125, and February-$125). You must come into the office prior to December 20, 2018 to get on a payment plan at no charge. After December 20^th, there is a $35 charge to get on a payment plan. 

The Memorial Parkway Office will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

We are excited to announce our new Homeowner Portal for all residents and homeowners in Memorial Parkway. The Homeowner Portal provides homeowners access to their HOA account in REAL time. Homeowners can view their accounts and pay online, view compliance issues including copies of compliance letters, view maintenance issues including submitting service requests, update profile information, and view documents. There will be a “Portal Seminar” on Tuesday, November 21^st at 10am-11am and 7pm-8pm. We will give a brief ‘how to’ on the portal and help get your account set up. Join us for either time at the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse. 

The 2018 HOA Board Election was held at the Annual Meeting on November 14, 2017. The results are as follows Mike Brahm 188 Votes, Michael Smyth 118 Votes and Michael Sheiman 41 Votes. Mike Brahm was elected for a 3 year term (2018-2020) and the board appointed the runner up, Michael Smyth to fill the vacant director seat for the remainder of the term, which is through 2018. Thank you to every who participated and voted in the election.

Safety Alert: There were several vehicles break-ins early in the morning on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 along Park Meadow and Cimarron Parkway. Unfortunately, this is all to common of an occurrence in our area. Please remember to leave on security lights and lock all vehicle doors to help deter this type of criminal activity in our subdivision.

Join us other neighborhood ladies for game night and pot luck, Thursday November 2, 2017. We play Bunco ($13) and LRC ($3). Bring your favorite dish to share. 6:30pm in the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse. 

Newbies we always love to teach you how to play. Such easy games and some great prizes, but the fun of getting together for great food and great new friends is the best part. We play the first Thursday of each month at the same location and time.

Our Annual Meeting of Members will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 7pm at the Cimarron Parkway Clubhouse located at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450. We will hold our Board election during that meeting. You can find the agenda to the meeting here. 

In order to have an official meeting, a quorum of 10% of the membership must be present through actual attendance or by absentee ballot/proxy. In the event you are unable to attend the meeting, please complete the enclosed proxy and return it to Memorial Parkway Community Association located at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450 by Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 5pm.
