The Halloween Decorating Contest is upon us and we can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with this year! Two Prizes will be awarded in each category. The winners will be announce on our website and Facebook Page! This year’s categories are as follows:

Bloodcurdling Screams – It’s all about the blood, gore, and horror. You’ve seen every slasher flick and horror movie, now it’s your turn to set the scene!

The Annual Meeting of Memorial Parkway Members will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Memorial Parkway Clubhouse located at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450. In order to have an official meeting, a quorum of 10% of the membership must be present through actual attendance or by directed proxy. If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the directed proxy If you are granting your proxy to an owner other than the Board Secretary, please make sure he or she will be attending the meeting. At the Annual Meeting we will hold a Board Election to fill TWO Board positions. The candidates running for the 2022 Board of Directors are Tom Blanche, Charles Herring, and Paul Schmidt. A bio can be found for each candidate on the Board Page on our website.

2022 Board Election Information

An elected Board of 5 Directors manage the affairs of the HOA. Each of the Directors is elected for a 3-year term. The 5 Board positions are staggered in rotation meaning every year there is at least one Board position up for re-election. The Board election is held every year in November during the Annual Meeting. For 2022, there will be two Board positions open for re-election. The candidates running for the 2022 Board of Directors are Tom Blache, Charles Herring, and Paul Schmidt. A Proxy will be mailed out in the Annual Mailing in October of 2021. Homeowners can also vote via the online proxy. We have to have to meet the quorum in order to have a valid election. If we do not have enough members return the proxy/vote, then we will have to do another mailing which will cost the members, $1,200. Please help keep your HOA Dues down, by voting this year.

As the summer comes to an end... the Highland Knolls pool is now closed for the 2021 swim season. Cimarron Parkway Pool is open weekends and holidays.
