***TRAINING MEETING POSTPONED*** due to lack of participation at this time. We will regroup and try to organize enough community interest in 2023!! Be on the look out for more information!! Thank you to those that showed interest in the program.
Our community is built on the strength of our residents. Every day, we encounter situations calling upon us to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement. Not only does neighborhood watch allow citizens to help in the fight against crime, it is also an opportunity for residents to bond through service. The Neighborhood Watch Program draws upon the compassion of average citizens, asking them to lend their neighbors a hand.
The Neighborhood Watch Program is the portal for training to support law enforcement in our community. The training by Precinct 5 HC Constables will teach us to refine what we are seeing and determine whether something is suspicious or not. The Constables will train us in what to look for, how to take note of useable identifiers, how to make a effective report to the police, and how the neighborhood can keep an open line of communication to keep everyone informed.
We are looking for residents interested in joining our efforts to keep our community safe. If you would like to be a member of the Neighborhood Watch please plan to attend the training session on Friday, December 9th at 6pm. We need as many residents as we can get to attend the meeting. Please RSVP by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so that we can ensure we have the volunteers to have a successful program meeting.
