Memorial Parkway is launching a new committee, "Street Representative Committee" and we need you to make this committee a success!!
What is a "Street Representative"?
Each Representative would volunteer to communicate issues on behalf of their street in Memorial Parkway, which are then logged and followed up by the office staff, the Board of Directors, and other relevant county agencies. Representatives also voice inquiries and suggestions for community development. It uses the skills and experience of local people to create safer and better neighborhoods
Additionally, each representative is encouraged to communicate ideas for positive activities or events and we help them to put their ideas into practice in their community. This provides local people a platform to share their agenda for community development.
Being a part of this committee will give you a unique opportunity to have your voice heard as issues or ideas arise. You will also meet like-minded people, giving them the potential to work together in order to have a greater impact for the benefit of your community. By partnering together, we believe this community group would be able to achieve great with in our community.
The committee will meet for quarterly in the community clubhouse. The first meeting will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7pm.
