Memorial Parkway Roadways

In an effort to slow down drivers on our subdivision streets, the Board of Directors has requested Harris County to perform an engineering study to determine M.P. streets eligible for a lower speed limit of 25 MPH. In order for H.C. to lower the speed limit to 25 MPH, at least 51 percent (51%) of the owners or tenants of residences in the subdivision must sign a petition. We need 1,132 residents to sign the petition in order to have the speed limit lowered to 25 MPH. 

In order to aid the HOA in enforcement of overnight street parking of commercial vehicles on M.P. streets, the Board of Directors has requested that Harris County install street signs prohibiting overnight parking (10pm-6am) of commercial motor vehicles. In order for H.C. to install such signs, at least 25 percent (25%) of the owners or tenants of residences in the subdivision must sign a petition. We need 550 residents to sign the petition in order for the county to prohibit overnight parking (10pm-6am) of commercial motor vehicles on our residential streets. 

If you would like to see such traffic laws changed in the subdivision, please sign the petition(s) go by the Memorial Parkway Office at 21600 Cimarron Parkway, Katy TX 77450, M-F 9am to 5pm to sign the petition(s). 

This is going to take a collaborative effort from residents in order to get enough signatures to get the laws changed. We need volunteers to stop by the office and get a petition form and help get signatures. If you would be willing to help out please stop by the office to pick up a form.
